I'm always amazed by the incredible music I discover at bars, kissas and record stores in Japan. The Three Blind Mice label is a particular highlight as you mentioned. Thanks! Usually my go-to labels for Japanese Jazz are TBM, Trio and Tact, but Venus is also great (though can be borderline easy listening at times). I've made some really good connections with a few trusted record dealers in Japan, so I often get shown stuff I've never heard of before. Can get mighty expensive buying remotely though!
