Faux flora is so much fun! There’s a few I would totally buy larger bottles of, but limiting them to the travel size set could also be a commentary on life and its brevity too.
I’ve already gone through 1/4 of the travel size of Aura and it’s only been two weeks 😅 it works really well for me in the Texas heat, where a lot of more heavily woody scents can get a bit overwhelming.
Next time you’re in town, visit Orcas Paley, Perfumerie Nasreen, Olfactory House (all three close to the market), and Immortal Perfumes (Ballard). I always like to rep my local ‘scene.’ Glad you found Nose of Gatsby.
Thanks for the heads-up! I will likely be up that way every so often to visit friends, so will make a point to stop by there as well. Gatsby was a joy to chat with -- so passionate!
Yeah I’d like to have met him, but I also was afraid of falling in love with a fragrance that will no longer exist. 😅
Once he gets re-established abroad and relaunches, I do plan on trying to get a discovery set if they will ship here, but that’s likely years out so who knows how things will look!
Such a fan of the Faux Flora set. And I haven’t smelled Nose of Gatsby yet but Aura sounds like something I’d really like.

Ok well now I may just blind buy Aura...
Maybe some samples first? 😅😆 I will never recommend blind buying, but you know how it is hahaha

He’s one of the hardest working Indie perfumers I know. Too bad about James at Filigree. He’s great! It would have been an experience.
